I have used it for a while now, mainly at the range. The first set I got actually was missing a piece, I did not know that until I lost the attachment piece, and contacted Smith Optics to purchase a replacement part. They were extremely prompt in response and helpful. They sent me a new set for free, which I did not expect.

On to the product. It took me a while to find an optic shop to put prescription lenses on. It sits well if I were just shooting in the range, but if I were moving around more, it was not comfortable, and tends to shift because of the weight. Probably not for active wear. The funny or embarrassing part was it took up space such that the goggle I used it with, formed a gap between the frame and my forehead, and the red hot empty shell casings for some reasons managed to fall right through the gap, not once, but a few times! I probably startled the people next to me, and it hurts! Finally, after I ended up with a blister I refused to explain to nosy people, I now wear a baseball cap with it. So the product is 3 stars for me, but Smith Optics customer service is a solid 5 stars.

I'm giving this a three-star rating for the reason that the attachment devices (nose-piece and clip-on attachment device) do not stay in place when used during extreme movement (combat use). I have repeated incidences where the eye glasses have popped-off the retaining clip that attaches to the nose piece. This is quite a problem if the user is in a real combat situation (military). The way to fix this problem is to glue the glasses to the retaining clip. Once this is done the problem is solved and the glasses can be used with the eye shield with no problems. I do highly recommend this product for those of you who use the Smith Optics ballistic eye shields. I know of no other solution, or product, that will allow a person to incorporate prescription glasses into the ballistic eye shield.

These work as advertised. However you can't really tell from pictures what it'll fit like in real life. The nose piece juts out from the bridge of your nose more than standard glasses to accommodate both the Rx lenses and the eye shield. This means the entire eye pro unit will stick out from your face by that much. As long as you can live with that they work great. The Aegis Echo is an awesome piece of kit, very thick polycarbonate shield looks like it'll withstand a tank shell, but because of the offset of the Rx nose piece the top of the eye pros has a moderate gap at my brow. Definitely wear a baseball cap to keep hot brass out!

One last thing, I'm used to rectangular lenses for sideways glancing, these are kind of close together so they work best only when looking directly ahead. Not a big deal, but buyer beware. Do I regret the purchase? Absolutely not! Will I switch to contacts? I might...

* visit my local eye doctor to have the lens installed and waiting roughly 2 weeks
* Insert them on smith optics turbo fan, let me tell you, these bad boys are cool! I can SEE! just fine. I used my goggles to replace my eye contacts because of tired of using eye contacts. My setup is for Airsoft, so I used them indoors and outdoor with the turbo fan and without. I am a heavy, heavy sweaty guy and they DO NOT FOG! Highly recommend these bad boys. When I every my lens into the goggle, I do use the lens cleaner every time.

The product pictured is not what I received. I am not quite sure what happened but this is unusable with the otw turbo fan googles. Customer service however was quick to help and will be looking into the problem.

Unusable. Save your money and buy something else. The nose piece and the eyepiece won't stay on so the eyepiece will come loose everytime you move. Can't use it at all. Wish I could return this. Stay away.

Fits well with my prescription lenses.. Fits comfortably and I can wear them all day.. Enjoying them..

They need to make the plastic out of a clear material or opaque. The black is distracting.
