Fishing days just got better—Columbia PFG Women's Tidal Tee Hoodie has all the protection and comfort you need for your next big catch. Columbia is renowned for our quality material and proprietary technology featured in our women's apparel and this long sleeve shirt is an example of that. This long sleeve hoodie features our signature wicking fabric for ultimate moisture management during long fishing days. The unique technology quickly moves moisture from the skin into the fabric where it spreads across the surface to quickly evaporate—keeping you cool and your clothing dry and comfortable. The UPF 50 sun protection blocks UVA and UVB rays to help prevent sunburns and long-term skin damage. The tight weave construction with UV absorbent yarns block the full spectrum of harmful UV rays. The crew neck and all-way stretch fit make all-day wear and movement comfortable. Our signature logo is featured on the sleeve for subtle style. Whether you wear this layer alone or with other layers, you'll remain protected and comfortable out on the water. Columbia's Women's PFG Tidal Tee Hoodie comes in many sizes and colors. To ensure the size you choose is right, utilize our sizing chart and the following measurement instructions: For the sleeves, start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder and down to the wrist. If you come up with a partial number, round up to the next even number. For the chest, measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
It's comfortable and true to color and size. I carry all my extra weight in my belly area and this covered it all without sausaging me in. The only thing I have observed is that I didn't feel like the sleeves were long enough to allow for the thumb holes to be used without the sleeves feeling taut.
I bought this exclusively for use in warm weather so I could avoid putting on tons of sunscreen and also avoid burning when swimming. This shirt is perfect! The sizing was true to size. I love having the thumb holes so I can protect the tops of my hands and the hood as well to help protect my scalp--I hate it when my skin at the part of my hair burns! It is lightweight so I had no problem wearing it even when it was 80-90 degrees F outside, and it also dried pretty quickly so even when it was cooler and windy on the beach, I wasn't sitting in a chilly soaking-wet top.
Love this sun shirt! I have a similar one by Patagonia (it’s still nice, wayyy more expensive, and has a pocket). But, almost every time I need one of these, I choose this Columbia one.
I like the color, it isnt hot and I didnt burn. Used it for kayaking and not too uncomfortable when wet, dried quickly. The good doesnt really stay on in wind, I'd have to be desperate to keep sun off my neck to use it. I'm not a huge fan of the lettering down one arm like most people, I think something more subtle on chest like some Columbia pfg I've seen is better and I could wear to more places. Im 5'6" and between 37 and 42 lbs due to recent weight gain issues and changes to thyroid meds. Hopefully lose it soon, but I prefer large bc I carry weight in lower belly and I prefer looser fit even though otherwise I have a petite frame (but higher body fat percentage though right now). The sleeves are very long on me though.
Great for a day out in the sun. I wear one on the water and haven't gotten a sunburn yet while wearing. It is still lightweight and fairly cool. The hoodie is good for keeping the sun off your neck while staying still, but there are no strings so it won't stay in place when a boat is underway unless you put a hat over it. I'm 5'6" and ordered a medium which fits well.
The good: I like the neck design and the big loose hood. Less good: the fabric is thicker than I'd imagined, which makes me hot and the shirt smelly. I sized up to get a breezy fit, but the arms are still rather snug. On the plus side the sleeves stay pushed up. This shirt will be a good choice for spring and fall kayaking, but I need something lighter for summer activities.
My only complaint is the sizing. It seemed a bit snug. I ordered an XL. Columbia sizes seem to run small. Typically, in other brands, I can wear a large....an XL would be plenty roomy. I sized up to XL in this shirt so I would have a little extra room....didn't work. Otherwise......color and fabric are nice.
Loved this shirt. Bought my normal size (XL) and it fit about like it does on the model, so if you want it to be a little looser, go a size up. I'm 5'3", 190 lbs, 36C, 36" waist. There's not much stretch too it, so if it is too small it could be restricting. I wore it tubing all day and never got hot and didn't get sunburned. It dried fairly quickly. Washed nicely (I hung it to dry). The hood was a little small to fit over my pony tail but nothing awful. If I spent more time in the sun I would definitely buy more of these.
Great service and shipping.
Nice but not what expected. This is made of a stretchy Lycra-like fabric, not cotton.
I like this product a lot.
Fits perfect, very comfortable. Only problem purchased white thinking it would be cooler in the heat, but the stains are really hard to clean.
