The prAna Halle Straight for women is made with our original abrasion- and water-resistant Stretch Zion fabric. This cross-functional straight leg pant is quick drying and features UPF 50+, snap front, trouser styling, mid-rise, and a roll-up leg.
After having two buttons fall off of two color versions following only a couple washes (no drying) and a couple weeks ownership, I contacted prAna customer service. They stated buttons falling off of this pant is a known issue. They have also been purchased by Columbia. I paid $85. I’m not okay with the price-quality discrepancy and wanted to warn others. Make sure to reinforce the button if you choose to buy. These were barely used.
An actual straight leg fit. Similar fit to the meme pant. I think a 4 was too big but a 2 too small. I’m going with the 4 for extra room hiking. I’m 5 ft 4 inches and 132 with generous thighs. :)
I'm a true size 4 and so naturally I ordered these in a 4, they were huge for a size 4. I returned them and order a size 2 and they fit perfectly. They rest low and don't show my derriaire crease when I bend over but just in case there is a draw string for a more secure fit. The fabric is a little stiff as expected for an "outdoors" pant. The pockets in the front a useless because they are very shallow. A flattering fit that moves well with me. Recommend but size down.
I plan to hike and rock climb in these. The straight leg is nice so I can still see my foot placement when climbing and comfortably roll up the pants. Some users have complained about buttons falling off - I haven't owned these long enough to know. The fit is cute, the stretch is perfect (can do the splits if needed) and they are lightweight. I'm 5'4" 125 lbs athletic build (35-26-35) and the 00 fit perfectly. Note, I also have a pair of the bootcut Halle 0 and that size was too big for my frame (even with cinching the inner cord down).
I just discovered these pants and love the fabric and fit if they would just send the right size ( they sent me a 6)
These pants are fantastic, very comfortable and stylish for hiking pants. Really happy with them so far, and based on the material and the feel of them, I assume they will hold up well over time. I tried these as well as the regular Halle pant (which is not the Halle *Straight*) and I much prefer the “Straight” as they provide a much slimmer fit/look, versus the wider leg on the non-Straight style. I will likely order these in more colors and would definitely recommend them to others.
These are fantastic and so comfortable. As a 12-14, the 14s gave me enough room to knock about comfortably, especially on high inflammation days. I would love to get these in a thinner fabric for higher temp day hikes, but these are now my go to.
I really love my other standard (non-straight) pair of these, but this version in the same size are nearly 2 inches shorter! Like them enough to keep them but I wish it was slightly longer at the ankles.
