I really wanted my wife to keep these. They looked great on her. She is an extra small and that size fit her perfectly. They look stylish enough to wear as outerwear. Warm and quality. I have to return them though because she said they were so itchy she could barely keep them on long enough to even show me how they looked. I felt them and they seemed soft to my hand, but apparently she is too sensitive to wear them as they really irritate her legs. I think all merino wool that is 97% or higher would itch her. Probably would help if they were like a 60% wool, 40% poly, rayon or Tencel blend.

I am a big fan of merino clothing in general but have decided leggings are not a good use for merino. Sitting so close to your skin, these are slightly itchy and i found them to be significantly less comfortable than the cheaper synthetic alternatives. They fit well, had nice stretch, were not see through, but i think wearing them all day would irritate my legs.
