Once we got the correct size, this hat is great for Seattle (where we live!) in the fall and spring. It provides good protection from the sun and rain, and my son likes neither in his eyes so wears this daily. The quality feels great and I like the colors. The x-small/small size is for babies and toddlers and was much too small for a four-year-old. The med/large fit him well and will probably fit for another year or two. My only complaint is it's hard to wash this by hand. Water gets stuck inside and requires some effort to squeeze it out.

The hat works great for its intended purpose: to keep the little one dry on a day of heavier rain in Seattle. It has the added benefit of being the same style as dad's hat.

My only complaint is that the bill feels just a tad too big... it's almost the same length as my adult-size version, and can get a little awkward when carrying the kiddo in the baby carrier... though the ability to velcro up the sides can help make this manageable, and it does provide cover for the snack cup.

Get compliments on it all the time. My kid wears it sometimes, but hopefully will grow into it a little more and we haven't tried it in the rain yet.

    Good materials.

I have one, and I bought it for my two youngest kids. My youngest absolutely loves it. He hates getting rain in his eyes/face. My other youngest pretty doesn’t care, but doesn’t wear a jacket either (a totally another issue). We’re in Seattle. Love these hats!

I got this for my 3 month old. The XS size is to big for him. He will grow into it soon enough so I’m not worried about it. Overall this is a very well made and lightweight sun hat. It has a very wide brim to keep the sun off all day.

Sheds rain and sun. Light weight. Chin strap holds it on in windy weather.

Great rain hat, my only issue is that I had to purchase a bright purple kids hat because the med/small adult size was way to big for my head. I wish the children’s sizes came in black.

I bought the large kid hat and it’s made well. However, It fits my 7 y.o. perfect now but by next year I’ll have to buy her another one as there made small.
