We are a skiing family. Every year we rent a condo at Sugarbush VT for the season. My four boys have been skiing since they were all three years old. They are now 13, 9, 7 and 6. I have had many different experiences with all kinds of gear to put it lightly. I love these thermals!! I wish I could get them in four different colors though. White is NOT an option for boys at all. Blue is good but never find them in sizes needed. Black is almost always avail. I am still having a hard time even finding this particular MATERIAL even the BLACK. I hope these do not become discontinued. I have at least four pair for each child. They stretch and keep them warm without the bulk. They are smooth so they can get their other gear on over top of them. It's just a great base layer. Not one complaint from any of them. There is no pilling which I loathe in other thermals. They can use them year after year and still fit in them the following year. A true rugged performing product review from a mother of four boys. I do not mind the $25 because it it worth every penny! Thank you for a great product!

I own several of these shirts at this point via several purchases.

Its a mid-weight shirt. They are way warmer, in my opinion, than the comparable weight shirt in Under Armour, or Nike. (at a much better price!)

I use this shirt for my base layer when exercising in cold weather. They are really warm for that purpose. I find them to be too warm if the temperatures are above 20°F - with only a lined pullover windbreaker over it.

I also wear them for the brisk morning walk with my dog. I wear one of these shirts, a t-shirt and a lined windbreaker for temps down to 10°F. We are out for 55-60 minutes and I never get cold - and i am that person in the office that always has a heater going.

Durability is not comparable to said brand names. I have had an arm seam start opening up on two of these shirt in one cold season (which in Colorado, granted, is long). They are getting worn and washed quite a bit. However, other brands have been put through the same treatment and have lasted fine. The issue is nothing a quick stop at the sewing machine can't fix. The fabric itself is durable. Frankly, for the price difference and the warmth difference for weight, ... my first sentence covers it and the fact that I plan to buy two more says the rest.

The description of this base layer is misleading. It says that it is a hoodie, but there is no hood. It’s just a base layer.

A very nice material and fit. I bought these when they were on a major sale for my kids and their cousins everyone loves and wears a lot. I will buy more when the next sale hits! Extra small for My 4 year old. Medium for the 7 year olds.

My son loves this shirt. It is soft and comfortable. I ordered a size larger than normal so that it wouldn't fit too tight, like many base layers. However, if your intention is to use it as a base layer, I would recommend ordering your normal size.

It's so soft and hugs your body. My son loves to sleep in this base layer, wouldn't take it off. So I bought him a second one. It keeps him dry when skiing.

Great quality, still in good shape after two ski seasons

Seems to be very warm and the fact of being longer at the back and covering up to half of the hand makes this product better than many others!
