Thermolator is the Terramar product where form perfectly meets function. The midweight fabric is ultra-soft and features thermoregulation technology that automatically adjusts to your body temperature. When you are cool it traps air to maintain warmth. When aerobic activity rises and the surface temperature increases the fabric allows moisture vapor to Escape to maintain comfort. Whether skiing or mountaineering, thermolator is functional performance at its best.
We are a skiing family. Every year we rent a condo at Sugarbush VT for the season. My four boys have been skiing since they were all three years old. They are now 13, 9, 7 and 6. I have had many different experiences with all kinds of gear to put it lightly. I love these thermals!! I wish I could get them in four different colors though. White is NOT an option for boys at all. Blue is good but never find them in sizes needed. Black is almost always avail. I am still having a hard time even finding this particular MATERIAL even the BLACK. I hope these do not become discontinued. I have at least four pair for each child. They stretch and keep them warm without the bulk. They are smooth so they can get their other gear on over top of them. It's just a great base layer. Not one complaint from any of them. There is no pilling which I loathe in other thermals. They can use them year after year and still fit in them the following year. A true rugged performing product review from a mother of four boys. I do not mind the $25 because it it worth every penny! Thank you for a great product!
I own several of these shirts at this point via several purchases.
The description of this base layer is misleading. It says that it is a hoodie, but there is no hood. It’s just a base layer.
A very nice material and fit. I bought these when they were on a major sale for my kids and their cousins everyone loves and wears a lot. I will buy more when the next sale hits! Extra small for My 4 year old. Medium for the 7 year olds.
My son loves this shirt. It is soft and comfortable. I ordered a size larger than normal so that it wouldn't fit too tight, like many base layers. However, if your intention is to use it as a base layer, I would recommend ordering your normal size.
It's so soft and hugs your body. My son loves to sleep in this base layer, wouldn't take it off. So I bought him a second one. It keeps him dry when skiing.
Great quality, still in good shape after two ski seasons
Seems to be very warm and the fact of being longer at the back and covering up to half of the hand makes this product better than many others!
