This tent has an automatic hydraulic system that you can have pitched in only one minute. I have never had a tent that went up so easy. There are sturdy poles pre-attached to the tent. The light construction makes pitching effortless and fast to set up, anyone could pop up this tent in a flash. It takes a bunch of the hassle out of your outdoor travel. I live in Florida where you either have rain or air soup so waterproofing is critical for camping locally. This tent is waterproof and wind stable. It uses a 210T fire retardant polyester flysheet, double-layer construction, fully taped seams, and a durable groundsheet to remain dry throughout the night even in a typical tropical rainstorm. Bonus it also keeps the mosquitoes out if you are diligent about closing the flap. It has enough space for 2 adults if your friends and 3 if you are really friendly. I did not expect to use the outer tent as a stand-alone sun shelter as much as I have. Turns out the beach is even better if you have a little bit of shade. It easy to carry at only 7.4Ibs. I aired it out overnight as a habit but there was no smell or chemical smell in the tent. They claim that if any material or workmanship problem happens, just contact them and you will get a free replacement or full refund per Bfull's Crazy Commitment. That I haven't tested yet because it is a good quality tent but I am glad to know they stand behind this product. I am happy to recommend this tent, it is pretty fantastic.
Easy to set up. However, we had a windy campsite and this tent was completely destroyed immediately. It did not stay upright.
This tent is extremely easy to set up and take down and could be great for camping in ideal weather or for kids to use in the backyard. However it is not great for camping rain or wind. There are gaps in the stitching as shown in the picture above. Imagine my surprise when I woke up to a drop of water in my face during a storm, only to notice the sides of the tent were leaking as well. A few nights later there were some gusty winds and the tent collapsed immediately and I had to sleep in the car (but as a positive I was able to take it down in probably under a minute to get it into the car before the rain came). My friend’s $30 tent from Walmart takes a few extra minutes to set up but she didn’t have any issues with leaks and her tent withstood the wind. Also note that the floor of this tent is the same material as the sides and will seep water, so you may want to use a separate ground covering.
I like camping but the old tent is not easy to setup all by myself, looking for a pop up tent that supports quick set up and that is, it takes less than 1 minute to setup or take down by myself only. The size is perfect fit for our 3 persons family to accommodate three sleep bags, while the package size is small to carry with. More important, it seems much more stable with the sturdy poles in windy weather, perfect in outdoor activities.
I wanted a second tent for drive in camping. So far This tent is awesome. Super easy to set up and set down. The poles are very sturdy, and so is the top spring mechanism. The zippers are good, just standard tent zippers. Tent is very nice because of the easy detachable tarp, and detachable tent for the shade cover. Fits in original carry bag w/ handles very well, needs a little work to fit, could've been a little bit bigger bag for consumers convenience. It didn't rain on my first trip, so I cant say anything about the water proof, but Im sure it would do great in the rain. This tent could sleep 2 adults very comfortably, but I wouldn't attempt to cram 3 people in there. Personally I think it's great for one adult. Just buy an inflatable twin mattress and you're going to sleep like a baby in this thing under the stars.
My wife wanted to get some tent and camping items so we can go camping some times in the future when the opportunity present itself, not having any gears stop us from actually making plan to go camping, so we decided to just buy a tent and some sleeping bags. We chose this tent because it is advertised as easy set up. We opened it when it arrived and tested it right away, the tent is very easy to open up, it snaps together very easily, then we just have to drill it to the ground with the spikes. It took us about 3 minutes to open it, and about 5 minutes to disassemble it. What I like is after we took it down, we can still fold it to fit in the bag to carry. The tent itself is big enough for both of us. The color is great and we feel like the tent is well built and will be sturdy enough. The tent can be access by 2 sides. This is so much different than the tent I used to have as a kid when going camping with my parents. This is like sooooo much easier to deal with.
Wow, blown away. I used to be in boy scouts back in the 90's and we never had a tent like this.
Holy it's insanely fast to setup and take down. I really really didn't believe it, but wow.
