I read the reviews on this cooler and the zipper issues identified concerned me but all the other performance comments sold me on trying it. I used the provided zipper oil right after opening the box. In short, we used it on the boat 4-5 times since receiving it and I don't find the zipper to be an issue. It definitely keep everything ice cod, including the ice! Twice after using the cooler, I left the remaining ice in the cooler overnight and both times, there was very little melt. I have the large "other guy" cooler and didn't want to spend the $250 for the smaller "other guy" one. This cooler IS the answer for a handy size cooler. |
Super impressed with this soft cooler bag. It is very durable and sturdy and reminds me of a much pricier brand. This cooler has a carrying strap and air tight zipper. It is leakproof and waterproof. It is insulated well. It is great for beach days and picnics. It is easy to wipe clean and it keeps everything cold for hours. Very happy with this purchase. |
I bought the 17L/"30 can" size of this cooler on Amazon. The zipper is too hard to open & close, & that's despite using much arm strength & the lube which comes with this cooler. For that reason I regret buying this & I do not recommend buying this cooler, instead save much money & buy any cheap hard plastic cooler instead of whichever size you need. I assume the purpose of this zipper being so hard to open & close is perhaps this zipper is watertight for users who would fill this cooler with water 7 store this cooler upside down. However, the designer of this should have installed a different type of enclosure than this zipper. |
My husband loves this lunch box, it fits my meal prep containers perfectly. When we started shopping for a hard case lunchbox we immediately looked up Yeti, this is a lunch case made to be just like a Yeti brand one but at a fraction of the cost! The zipper is stiff, just like other reviews say. |
I ended up returning this because the zipper was too hard to open. Seems really durable though. I never tried it to see how well it holds up to cold, but I could see it would be great if you don’t care about the zipper. The inside was pretty small though. |
Got it at a decent price, but the straps were broke and I tried gluing them with rubber cement. Has held so far. Hold ice for about 24 hours. |
