I like these underpants. But I have the same complaint for them that I have for all long johns. Who are these things sized for?!? I am 6’3” and 190 lbs. I wear my pants at my hip like every other man born after WWI. I (wisely) purchased a size small (I don’t care if the ankles are a bit high. I have good socks. And Wool is supposed to fit tight around your body). However, even ordering two sizes too small, the crotch goes to the middle of my dang thighs and there is enough room in the butt to smuggle a medium sized dog out of a pet store! I have to wonder what shorter people do. Are we supposed to pull these up and learn to pee out of our belly buttons?
These are very comfortable and warm if you can get the cuffs over your feet. I do not have large feet and it took forever to get my feet thru the cuffs. It took twice as long (two forevers) to get them off at the end of the day. In between these struggles they were comfortable and kept me a a comfortable temperature. My job is working outside for an hour or two at a job site then driving up to two hours to the next site. The day I wore these it was in the high 20's in the early morning when I started work. My third stop was at a much lower altitude and was just over 50 degrees . I was comfortable at both and did not get too warm even on the 4 hour drive home after an 11 hour day. If it weren't for the cuffs I would wear these again. As it is I will be looking for another product.
For $10.34, you can't find a better pair of merino blend long underwear /tights. These will be great for winter hiking and snowboarding or just wearing to bed. They're light and breathable (no cotton), so I can even wear them under my running shorts when it's cold.
I bought these long johns for both my son and my granddaughter's boyfriend for Christmas as they both work outside in the cold and wind. They both told me they like them very much and they help to block the wind. One wears a size small and the other wears a size medium and they both said they fit very well.
Very warm and comfortable garment BUT very narrow at the ankle and hard to get over my feet. Needs Spandex at the ankles.
Fit snug. Appear to be good quality. Don't look much different than the name brands I have. Well repost if any issues arise.
In -20 C.. it is not that warm, this was designed for extreme cold... didn't perform that well.. it might be better at -10 C.
I would only have this and a pair of winter pants for any negative, single digit, degree celsius weather for snowboarding.
