These are the worst boots by far!

Oakley makes great sunglasses, clothes and other gear. They need to stay away from boots!

In my 21 years in LE, I have gone through 5 pairs of Danner Acadias, 4 pairs of Under Armour Valsetz, 1 pair of Under Armour Valdez 2.0 and a couple of others I can’t remember.

These Oakley’s feel like the midsole and soles are made of cardboard, no cushion at all. The uppers have a feeling like a thick paper and make a funny crinkling sound when walking.

Keep in mind, my review comes from only a single 12 hour shift. The boots now live at the bottom of my locker until I retire and throw them away.

    Stay clear of these boots.

Honestly I was hesitant about buying these cause the reviews were so mixed. But I decided to just suck it up and make the purchase and I’m not disappointed. Only flaw is the ankle support isn’t that great but I found a way around that by looping the shoe strings around the ankle a few times before tying them and it works fine. I saw most bad reviews were saying they were falling apart and I’ve been using them 5-6 days a week for the last 3 months and I have no signs of wear on mine. I work corrections so I’m on my feet a lot and these do just fine. Extremely light and comfortable and look nice. As far as running, I don’t do a lot of and I’m not sure I could recommend these to someone if you do a lot of running due to the lack of ankle support. So make sure these fit the type of work you’re expecting to put them through.

Product arrived on time as described.
First impression is that these are well built boots as few other oakleys that I've had over time.
When oakley says "Lite Patrol Boot" they do mean it. The boot is not a heavy duty boot. It is geared more towards fall and spring, maybe even 70 degree summer weather. LITE also describes the kind of usage you should subject it to. These are not combat boots. Don't expect them to be rugged.

I have been wearing duty boots for almost 10 years. By far the most comfortable duty boots I’ve ever worn. I was sceptical about buying boots that were not water proof being I work in a rural area but once I wore them I was perfectly fine with the possible risk of getting my feet wet. The reality is most waterproof boots during the summer time will cause your feet to sweat so bad they’ll end up wet by the end of your shift anyway. Still curious to find out how long they hold up but if your looking for comfort I highly recommend.

I'm very disappointed in these boots. Looked great felt like a solid boot to wear until I wore them. The worst pain I've ever had with boots the heel cup is about 1/2-3/4 inches to short rubbed both the backs of my heels raw in an 8 hour shift very narrow at the toe if you have wide feet dont buy these boots. The top half of the boot is really flimsy felt and sounded like a thick plastic tarp around your leg.

Highly recommend these boots. They are so lightweight I thought they had sent me an empty box. Although they are extremely lightweight they offer great support. A lot more than other lightweight boots I have tried. I had bought inserts for them, but haven’t needed them. I wish they would take a polish, but besides that I wouldn’t trade them for another boot.

I had high hopes for such a reputable name brand. However, immediately upon opening the box I had made the decision to return them. They looked cheap and they felt cheap. They are light weight of course, but comfortable they are NOT! Feels like walking with cardboard on your feet. Don't waste your time ordering just to have to print a refund label and send them right back.

Great fit. Beautiful color. Incredibly lightweight. I run through rough terrain and they are still holding strong.

When first purchased I found them to be one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on. That said, for a boot it is also one of the most nicely designed/aesthetically pleasing available on the market. The problem was that the soles were too hard, having virtually no cushioning, but more concerning was that the bottom of the tongue would chafe against the top of my foot. Yes, it was painful, and there was some blistering. The easy solution was to add gel insoles and but the more difficult one was to stretch the front end of the boots. After about a week of stretching they became much more comfortable. Right now it's one of my favourite boots.
