I LOVE these ice cleats. I didn’t know if I was going to like heal only, but you walk flat on ice so no problem. The added benefit is that you can tip toe across sensitive flooring to prevent damage. I have a steep driveway and these have never let me down. (I slipped on ice and broke my ankle at our local airport last year so I am sensitive to slipping)

The only problem is that I have size 14/15 feet and so I ordered the largest set I could. The strap is so long that I barely can fasten them down on my Muck boots. The Velcro doesn’t line up. There is no way I can use this pair with regular shoes. This is a first for me as standard XL cleats are near impossible for me to get on regular shoes and no way on winter boots. Consider the strap length and possibly order smaller than you would normally.

My knees and hips are shot, so I can't dance on ice like I used to when I was younger and still survive. When I hop out of my car or truck, I need something that can be quickly applied with one hand, since my other hand is using my vehicle for balance. Maybe my hands are old and clumsy but whatever it is, I can't use one hand to apply yaktrax. I can easily put the walking cleats with one hand.

I've also had problems with the yaktrax staying in place after walking around for an hour or more, the walking cleats stay put. At most, I've had to reach down and tighten the velcro as they settle onto my boots; still with slightly loose velcro, they don't slide off my boot.

I bought these for an 86 year old family member who isn't as steady on his feet as he used to be. We live in Western NY, along Lake Ontario, so we know what snow/ice is all about. I was happy to read reviews that you don't have to take them off to drive and can walk on floors wearing them. So going in and out of the car, into stores and other buildings, his daily use, would not be a problem. And the wearer says it's true. He can't rave enough about these cleats. He feels safer having a firm foot grip while walking on the icy snow and has no problem driving or walking wearing them. He wears a Size 9 (boot) and the Medium fits perfectly.

This is a good product...very easy to put on and take off which is what I was looking for.

These ice cleats are reliable and keep me safe while on my daily dog walks. I also like the fact that I don't have to take them off while driving. Put them on and just go without the hassle of taking them off.
