This is a well made product and I am loving how bright the light can get. Something else I really love is low setting. It is nice and dim, and there are situations when you do not need the light to be super bright, but still need to see (as in changing a baby in the middle of the night). This is my second Fenix light and overall I am super happy with it. I originally purchased this from EdisonBright and it arrived with only a single battery. I wrote a negative feedback on their seller page (the only way Amazon lets you contact sellers that use Amazon's fulfillment service) and within a day they responded by sending me the replacement battery, no questions, no argument. The issue was simply a product miss label, but EdisonBright made it right immediately and assured me they corrected the problem. The moral is that you can buy from them with confidence.
Heavy on the forehead. This type of battery is too heavy to be at the front. It gave me headaches.
The spot beam is too wide. Maybe good for cave exploration, however; walking the dog at night in the subdivision with it is going to spot that beam on your neighbors' window and they will not like it. A much narrower beam would make this light very desirable in everyday use especially in the garden. But then again I this light meant to be for cavers.
Otherwise, it is solid.Great product, however only giving it 4 stars due that it is advertised as 900 lumen, will only go to 900 lumens for 30 seconds on turbo.
