I own the older black versions of this and thought this one would be a bit of an upgrade... Nope The black ones are much better! Pretty disappointed for a unit thats twice the cost as the original. I also thought the listing was for two units, but thats my fault.

- Its larger than the old version
- Much more dim than the old ones
- Twice as expensive.

Just buy the old ones, much better in every way!

Poor battery life and similar light output to the smaller version. Used a few times a month and then stopped working after about a year. Threads on inner battery compartment cap are fine and like to gall easily. It is heavy for its size and feels rugged. Magnet is not strong enough to reliably hold the flashlight when extended for the lamp option. Seems like they took the SLYDE AAA battery version and added a bigger case, this one just isn't as nice of build quality and performance as the AAA Slyde version but it does take the more popular AA batteries.

This unit is significantly larger than the first slyde model. Also, the magnet is barely strong enough to keep it horizontal when fully extended. A slight bump will knock it off of whatever it was stuck to. It's barely good enough that I won't return it but I definitely wouldn't recommend buying this model.

I bought the black Slyde at a local True Value, but it didn't have focus adjustability. So, I returned it and got this instead. Compared to the black, this model is about twice in size & weight so you may be better off with the black if you are to carry it around.

The focus function is excellent, and the COB light turns automatically on when you "slyde" the body. I was not happy, however, when I bought this at about $37 and the next day the price dropped to $32. I do not shop at Amazon for some stock market experience.

Made in China as was expected, but of good quality. Unsure about durability, especially against drop.

I got this flash light today and I also got the black version ( smaller one) and man I have to say the black one is 3-4 times brighter then this one .. very dimmed and not bright at all I compared it to my phone flash light I was getting less light with the flash light but more spread . Buy the black one and you will be much more happier . The design is very nice but who cares when it's that big but less light then cheaper model

A bit pricey, however very bright, and very useful. The magnet on the end comes in handy when you have to go in the engine compartment, just stick the light to hood and it shines right down where its needed. came packaged very nice, nice quality and delivers all that is described.

Thought it was a great flashlight from what I read. loved that is was dimmable and had a focus on it. When I got it I discovered that when you had the work light out and it sitting on the magnetic base it would close under its on weight. glad amazon has a better product return than nebo. I would have had to pay to ship it back to them.

Nice flashlight. Solid build using 4 AA batteries obtainable most places. Flashlight not as bright as initially expected.4750 Lux, what is that in lumens. Come on Nebo, use what most people understand. COB worklight is bright, and will serve its intended purpose for jobs about the house or car.
