I bought this to use with Standard Horizon HX890 HT that use on my PWC. If you don't have it screwed all the way in it puts the radio in TX mode. When I was trying to talk to a buddy while riding he could not hear me cause of the wind noise. The ear piece isn't to bad, I can wear it all day. The wire is plenty long enough.
