I sometimes patrol on ATV and work at festivals/concerts, so this sounded perfect. The concept was great, but the execution was severely lacking.

I used the bone mic, on a Motorola apx6000, for a week and a half before it's volume cut out so much, I couldn't hear radio traffic in my cruiser with the windows up.

I contacted Motorola and was told that they will not honor warranty issues, since it was purchased through Amazon. Thankfully, Amazon sent a replacement quickly, without any issue.

Unfortunately, the replacement lasted 3 shifts, before having the same volume problem. Even with the radios volume on max, traffic was inaudible.

Amazon was again very helpful. I spoke with a representative, whom started the return process for me.

For $350-400, I would expect this product to last as long as my Hawk 2wire ($89.00) which I used for 8 years before it broke. I have since ordered another Hawk.
