The batteries last a long time...the heat goes through the finger area and they're great for a day of snowboarding or just shoveling snow, especially when a person has had frostbite on their fingers.
These gloves are great. Size: Follow the guide included in the product description and you will get the correct size; at least that is what I did and they fit perfectly. Technology: Everything works just as described - The batteries charged up properly, the plug-in connection between the batteries and the gloves is easy and secure, and the heating controls on the gloves work as indicated. Heating: The gloves heated up in a couple of minutes and are plenty warm. Quality: Materials, seams and appearance all appear excellent. Glove volume: I bought these for cool weather bicycling, and cross country and downhill skiing. My concern was they would be too bulky to operate my bicycle gear shifters and to fit into the straps of my cross-country ski poles. It turns out that the gloves are fine for both of these functions so I am delighted.
I bought these for my wife and I for when we ride our bikes in Texas and it is in the 40s (yes, it gets cold here!). we have been using chemical hand warmers for years and this seems like a much better way. The gloves fit very nicely, were very comfortable and looked nice and easy to operate. But the fingers just never got warm enough so had to send them back.
I have horrible problems keeping my hands warm while working outside. These gloves help ALOT but......for me, a bit bulky ( could just be my skinny hands) and not as water proof as I would like. But, I live/work on a farm.....a challenge to find appropriate gloves for the winter. For non-farmer types, these are great gloves!
They took a long time to heat up and didn't get as warm as I expected. My hands are normally pretty cold and outside in the winter I'm miserable. I needed something a bit stronger. Maybe if you live in Florida they would be fine. I returned these and bought Savior brand gloves and love them. They are a bit more expensive but totally worth it.
I am not the least bit impressed with these gloves. I preheat them for 10 minutes before going outside, and they are not nearly as warm as they should be. I keep them on high. Still not warm..
I got these gloves to treat inflammation in my hands. The gloves get warm, not hot. They are pretty useless to me.
The glove seems good quality and the inside does heat up when turned on for a couple minutes before using. However, the tips of fingers were still cold in upper 20's /low 30's (plus wind chill). Since did not heat the finger tips, i returned them.
