Over the years I've worn many tactical pants: numerous models of 5.11, Blackhawk, Kuhl, SPLAV, Chinese improvisations and expensive custom-made ones. Vertx pants (I own several models) are ones of the very best when it comes to overall value…

    Pros:
    - High quality sewing, good fabrics. These are really well made compared to, say, popular 5.11 pants.
    - Great look. These pants neither look tactical nor a pair of cheap cargo pants. The extra pockets are nearly invisible.
    - Ergonomics. The pants fit really great. You can move freely without looking like hobo.
    - Details. There're many. Starting with inverted pocket zippers (soon you'll feel it as the only natural direction), going to pocket organizers and finishing with a great belt.
    - Value you get for the money. It's a steal.

    Cons:
Nothing I can really think of unless you're looking for an uber-tactical moll-ninja look.

    Overall:
One of the very best pants in this class money can buy.

These fit so much better that 5.11's and the quality of construction is the best I have seen on any pair of pants, casual, tactical or otherwise. Could not be happier. I bought them for travel pants as an alternative to Scott e Vest pants which are good but the extra long pockets just aren't useful compared with the cargo pockets on these. each cargo-pocket has an internal pocket that is just the right size and placement for carrying a cell-phone. The Cargo pockets are gusseted to expand if you really need to load them up. Both slash pickets include hidden zippered supplementary pockets, so well constructed that they are virtually invisible. Belt loop placement exactly right for 4 o'clock. I found sizing to be spot on. no need (for me) to add an inch as some suggested. Description shows them "lightweight", I would differ. They are medium weight and up to about any work environment or outdoor activity. I honestly could find nothing that I would change or improve upon. Great product!

1976 called and they want their fat aunt wearing the nylon polyester back. These things are super tight in the thighs, and every step is sound off by that classic zzzt zzzzt sound. If you order these by sizing comparatively to the sizing of regular Levi’s you’re in for a huge surprise. Better suck it in fat guy. I’m 6’4” and typically wear a 40 in the waist with a little wiggle room. Not with these vinyl classics. Good luck and maybe learn from my mistakes.

I'll start with the flaw: the butt pocket flaps are practically sewn shut so you can't even put anything into your butt pockets except maybe a drawstring coin bag. First time Vertx has disappointed me, especially given this is the most premium pant I've tried.
VERY disappointed given how everything else about the pants were fine: good cargo pockets and a hip slot for your knife and tools to keep them from scratching that phone in your hand pockets.

I'm a firearms instructor, constantly being exposed to the latest and greatest "tacticool" gear out there. I've been wearing 5.11's for years and have been very pleased with their products. However, these are probably the most comfortable and durable pants I've owned. They are extremely lightweight and breathable and very flexible. I am completely sold on these pants. Just be aware, purchase a size up in the waist. I normally wear a 34, but had to send these back for a size 36.

Not as cozy as the 5.11 and the clothe is kinda rough , They don't have much give in the waist like there supposed to . The ripstop isn't my gonna stretch on you , they do look sharp and have great pockets if you are ok with your mags on the side vs up front , the hip pockets have an extra zipper pocket for small CCW if you need it or your keys so they don't scratch your smart phone if your like me and just throw it in your pocket . The gray color was way darker than pictured if you need something uniform it's closer to what most call graphite or think dark pencil lead for you ex army guys ...

These pants are great. I use these for hunting or EMS stuff. They have a great fit. The non-rip fabric has helped me get through thick brush. The knees are doubled up on material. And the gusseted crotch saves my freakin life. The boys get toasty sometimes. But having the gusseted crotch is amazing. There are plenty of pockets. Pockets in pockets, literally. My one flaw I found is the thigh pockets. I don't like how they made the pockets flush with the pants. Sometimes, it makes it difficult to get stuff out of the pockets.Other than that, great pants.

I'm a field tech. On average spend 10 hours a day outdoors and I'm always moving - Kneeling, lifting, bending, squatting, not to mention tons of perspiration. The demand I put on what I wear is ridiculous. I've tried Blackhawk , 5.11, and LAPG and while there's quite a bit to be said for what those brands offer, I think Vertx may be next level. The design specs, the dense high grade material and the solid construction are unparalleled. Would reccomend for sure.

I have been wearing the Vertx original, or Legacy trousers as they are now known in excess of five years. I like the fit, the comfort and the features. These trousers are similar. They have the same levels of comfort and more features while keeping the ones I liked. The dedicated knife pockets and the flaps over the rear pockets are excellent. What makes these trousers stand out is the fabric. The rip-stop weave is light, resistant to stains and it is incredibly durable. I expect them to last longer than the originals and I will certainly be buying more of them.

I now have a second pair of these pants and I am glad to report that everything I said previously has indeed happened. What I find most satisfying is the weight of these new ones compared to the old. They are considerably lighter and therefore easier to wear all day. Excellent.

I have a hard time finding a comfortable pair of tactical pants. I have a couple pairs of another brand that are good and durable. But ... these Vertx pants .... yeah .... for me ... hands down the way to go. True to size and fit me perfect. These are the way ahead for me. I am definitely going to get more pairs once the colours I want are in stock

Looks awesome and the material is great but definitely size up. Got the boyfriend his usual size (32) and he says since it isn’t stretchy and has no give it cuts into his junk and ends up being sore by the end of the day

The pants fits way smaller than a regular pants. I wear 38 waist , I had to order size 42 for a comfortable fit!

These are super comfortable. They are well built, with pockets and reinforcements where they are needed.

    I like it alot

great pants fast shipping great seller ty

I play airsoft with this . They are very comfortable and let me run easily.
