Getting my usual size 2 ended up being a more perfect fit than CQR's size recommendation. The waist is still almost too roomy, but I guess that's why they invented belts. There is a little less roominess in the side leg pocket going down a size, as it hugs my muscular thighs more, but it still fits my iPhone 7 in its case.

I wore these all day yesterday (which ranged from the 70s to the 50s here in springtime New England), and I love the versatility of these pants through the temperature shifts–from shorts to capris to full-length pants. The pants are airy and breathable, while also providing good cover and buffering the wind..

Surprisingly robust material—made with cotton AND nylon. These are great all-around pants that you can wear as is, rolled up as capri or zipped off as shorts. The roomy, leg pocket is *perfect* size for iPhone.

I am on the fence about the sizing–-I got pants with the waist way too big because of the recommendation to size up in the description. I am worried, though, that a smaller size will not fit my muscular legs and backside, nor give me enough room to breathe and move freely.

Also, yes, these are the swishy pants that make lots of noise.

These just arrived. I was looking for something that was versatile so that I could go from hiking through tall weeds to hiking around in warmer weather. These definitely fit that bill. I normally wear a size 6 or 8 on the bigger side. These are an 8 and they are just a tad snug. I would expect them to be a bit loose.

Love these pants. I’m 5’2 115lbs. Normally wear a 2 short/normal in pants. Or a 3 short. I ordered the 6 regular. Had to send them back for the 8 regular. I have a bubble butt and the 6’s were too constructive on my glutes.

Love these pants! I'm a postal worker in West Texas and jeans are miserable un this 110° heat. I wear them long in the office but cut them off during deliveries! I'm also 6' and the length is perfect! So hard to find long anything that fits. These are very light weight and comfortable. I'll be buying more when more colors are available. Need dark blue if that's an option. Ordered a 12 but may need to downsize.

I can’t say enough good things about these pants! Very water resistance, comfortable yet cute, easy to convert to shorts, decent pocket sizes for holding your switch blade or multi tool or phone even, and incredibly durable. I’ve worn them in 60 degrees and 90 degrees. They felt great in both.
The only thing is that my hips are small and as a result I have to wear a belt with them but most other girls shouldn’t run into that problem.

I have been a size 10 for over 10 years now. I could barely get these over my hips. If you really want to try these get one to two sizes larger than what you would normally wear. Hiking pants should be comfortable and able to be layered. Good luck with these and most designed for women. They seem more concerned with showing off curves than practical hiking clothing.

These are good looking, comfortable, and easy to detach and attach the legs. There is a tag on each leg to tell you if they are for the left leg or the right leg. I plan on buying more colors!

I would have given these a 5 because of the convertible legs and great pockets, but the material is very stiff and makes a crinkly noise as you walk. I haven't hiked far in them yet, but I wonder if the noisy/rough material will rub. They are true to size.
