I am just under 5'3" and these petite pants seem slightly large in the waist, but the drawstring waist with velcro helps take care that. The length seems ok. I have had petite pants in this brand (different model) that seemed too long, but this particular pair are ok lengthwise for me. If you like "skinny/slim leg" pants, these aren't the pants for you, the leg is not a narrow fit. If however, you want lightweight and comfortable pants for working in the yard, walking the dog when mosquitoes are out, hiking, fishing, etc., then these should work for you.

Extremely light weight (more so than I expected). I am 5'2" and 120 pounds, and the size 2 petite was the perfect length! It was a bit loose around the waist, but can be cinched, so it works out fine. I will be taking and trying these pants into Costa Rica and Nicaragua, so still not sure about it's mosquito repellent ability, but it is, at least for now, light weight and packs down into nothing.

Did great on a 9 day bike trip. Only real pair of pants I took along to wear in the evenings to town and around camp. Lightweight, nice fabric. Pants roll up into cute, stylish capri's. I am 5'4" usually wearing size 6 but 8 fit better for my 'athletic' quads and rear. Big in the waist but hung on my hips. Drawstring helped. Good pockets. A little pricey but I've got my money's worth already. Ordered the gray which went with every thing. Will order the brown too.

Extremely disappointed with this seller. I referred to their size chart but the pants were way too big - not as advertised. Now I’m being charged for shipping and have to print out a shipping return label.

It awaits to be seen whether they'll keep the ticks off after walking in the woods. I'll report back later. As far as the sizing, I typically wear a 4 short, so that's what I ordered. They're a little baggy but since the fabric isn't stretchy at all, I'm wouldn't go down to a 2. I'm 5'3" - 110lbs

Just received (4 petite), so can’t attest to the bug repelling ability, but fits perfectly. For reference, I’m 5’2”, about 128 pounds, and usually wear a 4 or 6 petite.

I purchased this in the size 4 because it was a great price. However it runs BIG and a size 0 or 2 would be a better fit for me. I use it for gardening so the fit is not important. It has a drawcord waist so it won't fall off and bugs do avoid it.

we live in an area with lots of deer ticks and mosquitoes.... since using the pants and shirts when gardening, i have not had one tick on me. The pants do stretch out a bit after wearing , but that is a minor issue
