I bought these pants and LOVED them so I decided to buy the same pair again. The second pair arrived so gross! Not new, no tags, hair, and pulls along the fabric ...they clearly look used. I’m appalled and shocked. I spent $50 on “new” leggings that arrived balled up in a no name clear bag with no tags new tags attached just a wrinkled inside size/care tag. My first order arrived in an UA bag, tags attached and freshly folded unopened UA bag.

I’m traveling to the UK and Iceland next week and bought these along with two other pairs of cold weather leggings to try them out. For reference, I live in Hawaii and while we do have a winter season, it’s very mild (having lived in NYC before, I’ve been in some really cold winters). It’s been colder this winter and I’ve been testing my leggings on the chilly nights.

Now, I didn’t expect these to be the warmest of the leggings I purchased as one pair is merino wool, but they’re definitely not going to be enough for Iceland. I’ll have to layer something else on top, but they are very comfortable. The high waist helps keep them up for sure. For someone who has no hips for leggings to hold on to, I’ve always had issues with leggings slipping down and needing to do a jump and pull. I sized up my usual size because I have really muscular legs and was afraid they’d be too tight in my calves. I probably could have stuck with my usual M size since these leggings are really stretchy. The length is long, but it’s not an issue since they’ll be tucked in boots. The logo placement is a bit of a bummer (right under the side of the knee), but it’s not a deal breaker. Also, the texture is smooth and doesn’t attract any lint.

Overall, I do really love these leggings for the comfort. I only gave it three stars because of the warmth factor. Even as I sit outside right now on a cool night in Hawaii (currently just below 70F), my legs still feel chilly. I could probably feel fine wearing these in 40/50F with a jacket and feel warm still.

Update: I wore these leggings the most during my trip to the UK and Iceland because they ended up being the most comfortable and stayed in place the best. My wool leggings were warmer, but pilled and didn’t have a gusset so they weren’t quite as comfortable. Overall I didn’t really feel a huge difference between my $100 wool leggings, the cheap $30 fleece, and these $60 UA. I would say the UA leggings were the best investment out of the three. I did notice on the sides of my hips and butt that the fabric started to wear and fuzz up. I’m not sure how that happened as I was generally covered with my parka that has soft lining.

I’m questioning the validity of the claim that these are legitimate Under Armour brand leggings. I had purchased a pair of these exact leggings from a thrift store that were very well loved and they are in fantastic shape, which is why I wanted a second pair and ordered these.

The pair that I purchased from Amazon are pilling on the hips and knees, and the logo is peeling off. The pair that I purchased from the thrift store is doing neither of these things.

Although the leggings I purchased from Amazon are still very comfortable, very soft, and very opaque - I’m definitely unsure if they are legitimately Under Armour, or if Under Armour’s quality is getting worse. I’d recommend just buying from the Under Armour website just in case.

When i first saw these leggings i decided i was going to get a large just to be safe. However, i looked at the sizing guide and got a medium like the guide said i should and i'm so glad i did. I was a bit hesitant when i first opened the package and the leggings looked very small. In fact, i made the comment that one of my friends should hand me some pam so i can grease my legs to get them on. However, as soon as i started putting these on i realized they were super comfy, stretchy, and still had decent compression. The inside is also extremely soft and the leggings don't feel obnoxiously thick. They are very warm and I can't wait to take these on hiking adventures this fall and winter.

My favorite thermal tights. Comfortable, warm, extra long. Good mid-rise waist that stays put.
I'm 5'7" 130 lbs and the smalls are perfect. They do have extra length so someone taller shouldn't have a problem.
This is my second pair, as eventually, like most tights, they do start to wear thin and get a little bit see-through, but my last pair lasted 2-3 years of consistent heavy use.

These leggings are nice and thin but at the same time provide serious protection from cold cutting wind. I have worn them outside on cold days (low 30s and "feels like" temps 28 degrees) and they worked beautifully and kept me nice and warm. They are thin enough to wear under jeans or other pants for even colder temps. On sizing: I got XL and they fit fine but I could have gotten away with a size L. I have already bought more and definitely recommend them!

I live in the south, so while it gets cold here, we’re talking the 20-30’s - not sub-zero. I don’t like laying on my legs for runs, so I try to find running tights that really work. These kind of do - ran in them the other day with temps in the mid 40’s and while I wasn’t freezing, I wasn’t particularly warm either.
These fit pretty true to size, I’m normally a S in running tights and the S fit me fine. I like the length (I’m 5’8”) and the wide waist band.
These are probably best for temps in the upper 40’s or higher.

Really cozy and keep me warm during pre-sunrise San Diego mornings in the fall (haven't tested winter).

They are not see-through. Solid construction.

The size chart is accurate and I based it on my waist size which is what usually works for me. I am 5'6", 148 lb, with 40" hips (muscular thighs and glutes), 30" waist (a little soft, could stand to lose an inch haha) and a medium fits well, which I typically wear with brands like Under Armour, Adidas, Nike, etc. A bit tight in the waist but the size large slipped off of me so I kept the medium.

They hit my waist above my belly button which is not ideal for me or as pictured, but I do have a short torso so I'm used to that. Stupid genetics haha.

Not my favorite pair of leggings but I like them.

Solid purchase.

I initially ordered size small but they felt quite tight, I guess fine if you're looking for a compression style of fit. I replaced it for medium and I prefer the fit. I'm a pear body shape usually wearing a size 10 in trousers, my measurements are 36" hips and each thigh at it's largest measurement (circumference) is 21" - hopefully that helps someone trying to estimate the right size for them. Typically Under Armour running tights I take a size small for non-compression style, and a medium for compression style - although it's not clear in the title and description the tag in the garment does state that it's a compression fit garment (on ordering I thought it was non-compression). I'm 5'3" with a 29" inside leg and they are slightly long in the leg for me but not badly so and are perfectly wearable with a little gathering around the ankle due to the length, thankfully no ankle zips which can be a problem for us shorter ladies when the tights are a little too long. The fabric is warm which will be great to get me through the months of winter training ahead. I would not wear these for summer or indoor workouts as they would be too warm. There is a small oblong internal pocket in the waistband, it is quite shallow and open i.e. no zipper, not large enough for a phone but ample space for a key.

These UA tights are warm and well-made. I bought an XS and they fit great (I'm 157cm (5'1) and 51kg (112lb), and usually a UK 6-8), although they are a bit long (which is not a major issue). They're supposed to be a tight fit and they sit a little higher on the waist than other tights. I was concerned about the authenticity given an earlier Amazon review but the product seems authentic to me and arrived with tags attached etc.

Just to flag there's no pockets for keys etc (I really like this in my other running tights), but given they are cold weather tights you are more likely to wear a jacket with pockets.

I purchased these from SportsShoes on a Friday afternoon (after their 2pm cut-off), they were dispatched on Sunday and they already arrived by Monday! Very happy with the quick delivery.

I'm 5"10 and size 12/14 I Ordered a medium and they fit great. Very comfy, I wear them to do military boot camp sessions so running, burpees, squats, bear crawling, squat thrusts and they stay in place the whole time. Will be ordering more they are the best work out leggings ive ever bought. And I've bought a lot !!!!!!

these are simply the BEST long gym bottoms i have ever had. i am a personal trainer and spend every day in capris and sports bra, i love under armour anyway, but as the weathers getting colder i thought i would try these, the only long gym bottoms i have had before have been a Zumba pair because of the funky colours. But these cold gear leggings are amazing, soft, stretchy and warm!!! what a difference to ordinary lycra leggings, breathable so although warm when outside, no sweatiness when working out and i do about 4 + hours a day. I will be buying more, please bring out some bright colours!!!!

I own a pair of UA Heat Gear Alpha compression tights (Size S) and a couple of pairs UA Authentic compression capris (size M) and all three fit perfectly fine. I bought Cold Gear tights in size M and find them to be quite small, in hindsight I should have gone for size L. I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of a return.
In the future I will probably aim to try on new UA products in store as the sizes seem to vary a lot.
